INDOOR (IQA) Indoor  (IQA) is an  index for reporting air quality on a daily basis . It is a measure of how air pollution affects one's health within a short time period. The purpose of the AQI is to help people know how the local air quality impacts their health.   OVERVIEW Indoor air pollution is  dust, dirt, or gases in the air inside buildings  such as your home or workplace that could be harmful to breathe in. Poor indoor air quality has been linked to lung diseases like asthma, COPD and lung cancer. It has also been linked to increased risk of heart disease and stroke . DESCRIPTION OF HOUSEHOLD AIR POLLUTION Household air pollution is a leading cause of disability-adjusted life years in India and the third leading cause of disability-adjusted life years globally. There are at least sixty sources of household air pollution, and these vary from country to country.
